Show: Saturday, April 12th, 2014, 10pm
Stephen Kearin is one of our favorite people and performers. A master of genre improvisation, mime/space work, and theatricality, Stephen epitomizes what The Improvised Play Festival is all about.
This year, we decided to bring Stephen down to Austin to direct a special project (and to teach some workshops). So for the festival, he’ll be leading a group of Austin-based improvisers in a show that captures the spirit of his improv philosophies and techniques.
The show, Mélange! Théâtre des Variété, will be a series of vignettes, each one completely different than each other. You’ll feel as though you’re witnessing a collection of short one act plays… each utterly unique.
We couldn’t be more excited.
